ATHENS: In an atmosphere of deep emotion and national uplift, the production company European Earth Productions E.E. presented on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, the musical tribute performance “The Teacher of Imbros.” The iconic Pallas Theatre was filled with people who responded to the call to support Greek education and preserve the living memory of the island.

 

A Distinguished Presence with a Sacred Purpose

 

The evening was held under the High Patronage and in the personal presence of His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, who honored with his attendance an event dedicated to his beloved homeland. The presence of His All-Holiness gave the evening a sense of spiritual reverence, highlighting the importance of supporting the schools of Imbros as a beacon of hope for Hellenism in the region.

 

A Leading Artistic Collaboration

 

On the stage of the Pallas Theatre, distinguished creators and performers came together, offering a unique cultural journey:

  • Direction & Presentation: Lakis Lazopoulos, with his undeniable artistic sensitivity, undertook the artistic direction and presentation of the evening, connecting the past with the present through a distinctive aesthetic perspective.
  • Narration: Maria Kavogianni, in a deeply moving spoken performance, unfolded the thread of memories and the history of Imbros, captivating the audience.
  • Performance: Giannis Kotsiras gave voice to beloved songs that praise love and homeland, creating moments of profound emotion.
  • Musical Accompaniment: The Municipal Philharmonic Orchestra of Amfilochia added an imposing and celebratory tone, enriching the soundscape of the evening with exceptional harmony.

An Act of Memory and Duty

 

The performance “The Teacher of Imbros” was not merely an artistic event, but a tangible act of solidarity. In cooperation between the organizing company European Earth Productions E.E. and the Patriarchate, a simple ceremony is already being planned, during which all proceeds will be donated to support the schools of Imbros, contributing to the future of the children and the continuation of education on the island.

ARTISTIC EDITORIAL OF THE PROGRAM – DIRECTION

 

A concert dedicated to Grigoris Bithikotsis, the “sir” of Greek music, will take place at the Kallimarmaro Panathenaic Stadium on September 17, 20 years since his death.

 

The presentation, direction and editing of the texts have been undertaken by the multi-talented and beloved by all Lakis Lazopoulos, honoring in a special way the entire great journey of this great artist!

 

Top performers will sing unforgettable songs that mark the path of Grigoris Bithikotsis and the personality he was. A shocking voice that left its indelible mark, combining Doricism with the folk style that gave Greek song some of its most important moments, in collaboration with the greatest Greek composers!

 

Conductor Nikos Stratigos has been appointed to conduct the orchestra and orchestrate the repertoire.

 

The concert will be of a charitable nature as part of the proceeds will be donated to “FLOGA” – Association of Parents of Children with Neoplastic Diseases.

The Region of Western Greece organized for the first time a two-day musical street Christmas band with the aim of giving a festive tone to the central shopping streets of Patras and Messolonghi.

EUROPEAN EARTH EVENT undertook and successfully completed the organization of this event.

A crowd of people applauded the two bands that spread joy and enthusiasm in the pedestrian streets and squares of Patras and Messolonghi.

For the second consecutive year, EUROPEAN EARTH EVENT & EUROPEAN EARTH PRODUCTIONS organized the 2nd Music Street Christmas band festival for the Municipality of Agrinio.
4 bands with different genres of music on December 21 & 28 set the festive tone in squares and pedestrian streets of the city of Agrinio.
The spectacular turnout of people as well as the traffic in shops and pedestrian streets near the points that had been demarcated for the music bands to play leaves us completely satisfied as organizers, in connection with the enthusiasm of the officials of the Municipality of Agrinio.
The study of the project by the specialized associates of our company had aimed at the multiple benefits that arise from such events.
